Welcome to Weekly Builds! In this section, we will be breaking down interesting builds used by pro players in their games. In our first installment, we will cover the TC Drop Attack, also known as the "Persian Douche".
Persian Town Centers have double the normal amount of hit points, which means if a Persian TC is close to the enemy’s, Persians will always win the TC battle. With this in mind, it would be very convenient to have a TC battle during the Dark Age and completely disrupt your opponent's economy. But you can't build a new TC so early in the game… or can you? If you delete your starting TC, you are then able to rebuild it anywhere else. In this case, that's going to be your in your opponent's base!
This is a very all-in type of strategy as it involves committing half of your economy into the attack. But if performed correctly, it will be really hard for your opponent to respond.
